Experienced HVAC Installer – S-2 or D-2 Licensed

Crocco Mechanical is a locally owned and operated HVAC company serving residential and light commercial customers throughout Connecticut. We’re known for our clean, professional installations and commitment to quality workmanship. We’re looking for an experienced S-2 or D-2 Licensed Installer who takes pride in their craft and is ready to join a team that values skill, reliability, and attention to detail.
Position Overview:
This position is for a seasoned HVAC professional experienced in full-system installations — including ductless mini-splits, furnaces, boilers, central A/C, and rooftop units. The right candidate will be capable of running jobs from start to finish with minimal supervision and will uphold the high installation standards Crocco Mechanical is known for.
Responsibilities:
• Perform complete installations of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings
• Lead and coordinate on-site installation activities, including helpers or apprentices as needed
• Install refrigerant, condensate, venting, and gas piping systems to code
• Perform startup, testing, and verification of system operation
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and neatly
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Maintain accurate job documentation and uphold company standards
Qualifications:
• Current S-2 or D-2 Connecticut HVAC license (required)
• Minimum 5 years of installation experience preferred
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and local/state codes
• Proven ability to manage installation timelines and ensure quality control
• EPA certification required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional attitude and commitment to top-quality workmanship
